Ouch
I heard 3 bone crushing pops as I misstep into an uneven patch of ground during soccer on Friday. (stupid Wilsmore field)
Fell down shouting and rolling like a baby. Damn, it hurt.
Limped all the way back home because the mosquitoes were starting to suck me dry as the day ended.
Spent most of the weekend by self treating myself with some physiotherapy on the net.
Credits to house mate for anti swelling pills.
recovery currently at 80%? I still can't bend my knee fully but at least I've regained enough mobility to walk and not limp.
Hopefully there won't be any permanent side effects on the knee due to this accident.
protip 1: properly warm up before sports especially during cold weather.
protip 2: don't push yourself too hard on a bad pitch
well, at least I scored a goal before the injury.\
protip 3: physical pain makes you forget emotional pain and is easier to heal. :D
protip 4: Don't cry like a baby in front of your friends.
